Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile water preparation containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is the standard reconstitution solvent for lyophilized research peptides, enabling multi-dose use of reconstituted solutions without bacterial contamination.
